Dosage and Use
Take one (1) capsule daily with or without food, or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner.
Caution
Supplemental zinc can inhibit the absorption and availability of copper. If more than 50 mg of supplemental zinc is taken daily on a chronic basis, 2 mg of supplemental copper should also be taken to prevent copper deficiency. Chronic ingestion of more than 100 mg of zinc daily may be immunosuppressive for some aspects of T-cell and NK cell function.

Zinc is essential for immune cell development and function. Supplementation with 30-50mg daily increases T-cell activity by 30-50%, enhances natural killer cell function by 25-45%, and improves antibody production by 20-40%. Zinc reduces cold duration by 30-40%, lowers infection rates by 25-45%, and improves vaccination responses by 20-35%. Deficiency (affecting 20-30% of elderly, 40-50% of athletes) impairs immune function causing 2-3x higher infection rates.
Zinc is crucial for testosterone synthesis and conversion. Supplementation in zinc-deficient men increases testosterone by 25-75%, improves sperm quality (count, motility, morphology) by 40-90%, and enhances libido by 30-60%. Even zinc-sufficient men under heavy training stress benefit—studies show 20-40% better testosterone maintenance during intense exercise. Zinc also inhibits aromatase converting testosterone to estrogen by 15-30%, optimizing testosterone-to-estrogen ratio.
Zinc is essential for collagen synthesis and cellular proliferation. Topical and oral zinc accelerate wound healing by 30-60%, improve acne by 40-70% (reducing inflammation and bacterial growth), and enhance overall skin health. Supplementation reduces inflammation-driven skin conditions by 25-50%, supports healthy hair growth, and strengthens nails. Zinc deficiency manifests as slow healing, acne, hair loss, and brittle nails.
Zinc is a component of superoxide dismutase (SOD), a key antioxidant enzyme. Supplementation increases SOD activity by 30-60%, reduces oxidative stress markers by 25-45%, and protects DNA from oxidative damage by 30-55%. Zinc supports over 300 enzymatic reactions, maintains cell membrane integrity, and protects against heavy metal toxicity (competing with lead, cadmium absorption by 40-70%).
For immune and general health: 15-30mg daily. For therapeutic use (colds, immune support during illness): 30-50mg for 5-14 days. For zinc deficiency correction: 50mg daily for 1-3 months then reduce to 15-30mg maintenance. Athletes and those under stress: 30-50mg daily. Take with food to reduce nausea (occurring in 10-20% on empty stomach). Don't exceed 50mg long-term without copper supplementation (2mg copper per 50mg zinc) as zinc depletes copper causing deficiency. Separate from calcium/iron by 2+ hours.
Results: Meta-analysis shows zinc supplementation (30-50mg daily) reduces cold duration by 33%, decreases cold severity, and lowers infection rates by 25-45% when taken at onset of symptoms.

Results: Clinical trial demonstrates zinc supplementation (30mg daily for 6 months) increases testosterone by 93% in zinc-deficient men, improves sperm quality parameters by 40-90%, and enhances libido.

Results: Studies show zinc accelerates wound healing by 43%, improves acne severity by 50-70% over 12 weeks, and enhances overall dermatological health through anti-inflammatory mechanisms.

Results: Research confirms zinc enhances immune function, increasing T-cell activity by 30-50%, natural killer cell function by 25-45%, reducing infection rates in elderly by 36%.
