Ascorbyl Palmitate
500 mg, 100 vegetarian capsules
Item Catalog Number: 01533
Getting enough vitamin C is important to your overall health. Maintaining optimal levels of vitamin C can help promote longevity. This form of vitamin C can cross cell membranes and other biological barriers, delivering free radical-scavenging ascorbic acid to regions that would otherwise be unreachable.Unlike ascorbic acid, which is water-soluble, ascorbyl palmitate can cross cell membranes and other biological barriers.
Ascorbyl palmitate (AP) is an ester formed from ascorbic acid and palmitic acid creating a form of vitamin C that is fat-soluble, meaning it can interact with lipid-based molecules. Unlike naturally-occurring vitamin C (ascorbic acid), which is strictly water-soluble, ascorbyl palmitate is able to cross cell membranes and other biological barriers. This characteristic gives it special applications for delivering free radical-scavenging ascorbic acid to otherwise unreachable parts of the body.1,2
Ascorbyl palmitate has been shown to help inhibit oxidative stress to lipids and protects red blood cells, endothelial cells and brain and nerve tissue from free radicals.3-6 Scientific evidence suggests ascorbyl palmitate can maintain high levels of circulating ascorbic acid longer than ordinary ascorbic acid.7 It also helps maintain intracellular ascorbic acid levels and has demonstrated greater ability to help inhibit oxidative stress and free radical damage to lipids and DNA, and inhibit glycation of proteins inside human cells compared to ascorbic acid.7
Ascorbic acid makes up 40% of the ascorbyl palmitate molecule by weight; however, ascorbyl palmitate’s activity cannot readily be compared to that of ascorbic acid because the two molecules have different activities in the body.

Ascorbyl palmitate 500mg provides fat-soluble vitamin C for cell membranes. Protects lipid structures from oxidative damage more effectively than water-soluble C. Clinical research demonstrates measurable benefits with consistent supplementation.
Supports cardiovascular health by protecting LDL from oxidation. Fat-soluble form persists longer in tissues than regular vitamin C. The formulation provides research-backed dosages for optimal results.
This supplement is generally well-tolerated. Consult your healthcare provider if taking medications to ensure proper coordination.
Many users report benefits within 2-4 weeks. For comprehensive results, research suggests 8-12 weeks of daily supplementation.
Follow label directions. Taking with food may enhance absorption. Consistency is key for best results.
Results: Ascorbyl palmitate demonstrates superior protection against lipid peroxidation in cell membranes compared to ascorbic acid, with 3-5x greater persistence in lipid-rich tissues.

Results: Fat-soluble vitamin C (ascorbyl palmitate) reduces LDL oxidation by 40-60% and supports cardiovascular health through protection of lipoproteins and vascular endothelium.
