Plus, our formula has nutrients that go beyond just vitamins and minerals, so you get comprehensive support whether you’re expecting, nursing or just trying to become pregnant.
DHA—DHA stands for docosahexaenoic acid. It's an omega-3 fatty acid that, among other things, promotes healthy fetal growth and development. Consuming DHA during pregnancy and nursing goes a long way toward promoting healthy brain and eye development.1
And while most DHA is derived from fish oil, the DHA we include in our Prenatal Advantage Formula is derived from marine algae.
Lutein and zeaxanthin—Our innovative prenatal formula also includes carotenoids like lutein and zeaxanthin. These valuable phytonutrients support healthy eye and brain development.2
Choline—Choline is an essential nutrient. Studies show that many pregnant and nursing women don’t get enough choline from their diets. Prenatal Advantage contains 50% of the daily value of choline, which supports healthy development of the brain and nervous system during pregnancy.3
Bioactive forms—As with many Life Extension formulations, our Prenatal Advantage uses the most bioavailable forms of nutrients such as 5-MTHF folate and methylcobalamin vitamin B12.
Our formula has eight nutrients not found in One A Day® Prenatal 1§

This formula provides clinically researched ingredients at optimal dosages. L-5-MTHF 800mcg provides bioactive folate for neural tube development. Research demonstrates significant benefits within 4-8 weeks of consistent use.
Iron 27mg supports healthy hemoglobin and prevents pregnancy anemia. DHA 200mg omega-3 supports fetal brain and eye development. The formula supports overall wellness through multiple complementary mechanisms.
This supplement is generally well-tolerated and can be combined with most nutritional supplements. Consult with a healthcare provider if taking medications or other supplements to ensure appropriate total daily intake.
Individual responses vary, but many users report initial benefits within 2-4 weeks. For comprehensive results, research suggests optimal benefits typically emerge after 8-12 weeks of daily supplementation.
Follow the label directions for optimal results. Taking with food may enhance absorption. Consistency is key—establishing a daily routine helps maintain steady nutrient levels.
